Wrecks & Reefs

M/Y Cyclone – 24 February 2018

With just five people on board Cyclone headed straight from port to Abu Nuhas reef for a check dive. Weather and sea conditions were perfect and the visibility on the Tile Wreck was breathtakingly good! Mooring for the night at Abu Nuhas to get in some more wreck dives on day two guests were up early and after a fabulous day crossed to  Beacon Rock.

Night diving at Beacon Rock is always interesting with its diverse marine life but spotting the beautiful Spanish Dancer made it extra special along with the many morays and a huge octopus!

Up bright and early for the first dive of the day on Dunraven then on to Ras Mohamed National Park. Jackfish Alley was the highlight of the day with big tunas and barracudas. After a late afternoon dive on Jackson the boat moored at Gordon reef for a night dive and to spend the evening in the Straits of Tiran.

The week just got better and better with two black spotted stingrays and a manta at Stingray Station!!!

Our Crews always enjoy to celebrate and this week there was a big cake to congratulate Rachel and Daniel on the completion of their Advanced Open Water Diver and Enriched Air Nitrox courses.
